Pencils and Glitter Chalk

Hello Everyone Happy Saturday
a little late in the day but Iv've been a busy bee getting ahead with DT bits and Christmas cards
I really want to do another colouring page but I cant decide which one there are so many beauts that I want to colour
Have you checked them out yet - there so much more than colouring books!


For this card I  used a page from Colour Therapy 1 - Florabunda
Who just does'nt love butterflies??
I actually squealled when I saw this page

I cut out the center and added in
Serenity Fairy Kisses (mounted with foam pads for some depth
What a perfect match!!

I coloured with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolour Pencils
Using Black micron pen too
and then covered with sparkly chalk
I used Glamour dust on her wings
and white Graph'It Shake it Marker for fine detail

I loved colouring up my image this week , How cute and a perfect start to my Christmas cards. The image is from our lovely sponsors The Stamping Boutique and is called Happy, happy snowman , you can find him in the store right here . I loved the palettes this week they really inspired me to use lots of gold and silver and admittingly using my Graph'it shake markers really properly for the first time together. I adored using them , but had to take a sideways photo so you could see them in all there glory

21 Today

Coooeeee Wednesday already???
I wanted to share with you a card that I have made using 
Florabunda
If you saw Monday's post you will see I have used the same image on an A4
and now as a card
The absolute blessing of this colouring book you can print out as many times as you wish, onto different card stock to fit your project and you can change the size to fit. Now if that is'nt enough you now have the option to buy smaller , maybe you only need the alpha to start

I have coloured this card using Graph'it markers, a nice selection of Pinks and the black . I have used the White Shake It to add smaller detail

If you have been following my blog lately you will have learnt about the new love of my life, I was introduced to something brand new and delish! -  I really am totally smitten and addicted to......
Florabunda
I've literally gone from 4" digi's to colouring A4's!!!
Don't be alarmed , easy peasy in my head I break the A4 down into sections. Even easier with this I did one letter at a time !

These would look absolutly beautiful on a special Birthday card you could spell out a name , decoupage the butterflys , the list is endless - I've really so much I want to do and try

I made this A4 sheet from the stunning Alphabet on Florabunda
The first A4 I coloured with Graph'It Markers , Yesterdays was coloured with pencils and todays Alpha I did with Black micron pens , for the yellow I used Wink of stella (it really does twinkle in real life) I also added some splodges of glamour dust. So difficult to get a good photo of sparkle!
I'm a bit rubbish at zentangle but I do love it , my main aim to show you how versatile these Colour Therapys are and the best thing .......print it out as many times as you want (sshhhh this took me about 5 attempts but I was determined!)

Happy but cold Monday

Happy Monday Everyone
There is certainly a nip in the air today 
Did you see my post yesterday ?
I am back again to share another A4 make I did
This time I used 
 Lyra Rembrandt Polycolour Pencils
to colour up- 
I love the blues and greys
I used a micron pen for the black writing

I actually think this is my favourite , (haha until I start another)  it coloured up very quickly using only 2 colour tones

Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday Everyone
I'm not normally posting on a Sunday but we have been having ton's of fun of late , making our  samples for our lovely boss lady Nikky's new colouring books
Colour Therapy

This sample is using the first one Florabunda

I printed out at A4 size and then just sat staring , thinking it would take me forever and I would not finish - my comfort zone is normally to colour a 4 inch digi!!   
 Haha Scatty's lost the plot  HELP!!!!!  Was I  now totally mad?  I like a challenge but this was something else

How wrong was I??

 I pulled up my Bridget Jones knickers and........
set to colour 
I loved it , it was so not daunting and I coloured it fairly quickly 
I loved it so much I did another 2x A'4's that I will share with you at later dates

I split it mentally into quarters and thats how I coloured it 
I coloured this one with my Graph'It markers and using my White Shake 'It for finer detail. 
I have'nt listed my colours used but there nearly all my favourite go to colours so if you want them just drop me a message 
The bluey background was done using shimmery chalks
I brought a really cheapo frame from e-bay 
and there you go
There really is so much more to a colouring book when you can print it out!
RED and YELLOW and PINK and GREEN!
PURPLE and ORANGE and BLUE!
I can sing a rainbow!

Okay I have'nt used all the colours of the rainbow but its a feel good song

Eerie Colours

Wow I loved my image this week Sally Sadness, not my normal go to image but once I started she really was so much fun to colour, you can find her in the store here. I think she really suited the Eerie colours theme. I added in a cloud and brick back ground but the photos dont show it too well. Stamped on some randomn words and added a few bats to finish

Cup of Tea Anyone?

A second post from me today I really had to share this with you 
Did you see our lovely Nikky on Create and Craft yesterday?
If you missed the show you can catch it for a short time here, but be quick you really don't want to miss it!


The star of the show was without a doubt the new colouring book wow what an amazing idea
a colouring book you can print out - I had great fun colouring in using different mediums and making different things from the pages I shall be sharing my makes over the next few weeks

The other star of the show was Serenity I adore this character

This makes shows a teapot that I made 
I used Nikky's Teapot template from the store here
I cut the teapot onto some plain card a couple of times so its nice and sturdy,
I made a middle to join the teapot to make it into a box type - I just used a piece of plain card zigzagged it up for sticking tabs and voila
I'm a little teapot
Short and stout

When I get all steamed up

I then used paper from the Serenity collection 
and used the pre - coloured image of  Serenity Fairy cake
perfect for a TeaPot I thought
I finished it off with some bling.



Now a teapot wouldnt be anygood without any teabags
I used 3 different ones (you know the ones you find in your hotel rooms sssshhhh)....
Made a simple teabag cover  from more papers from the collection
Again using pre coloured images of Serenity along with Sentiments also from the collection
A couple of blingy pearls to finish
Quite a simple project but so much fun to make and I loved the end result

 For my card I have used the fantastic template from Twiggy and Toots collection I then used the uber cute little robin from Frosted Winter Collection. Also from that collection came the paper, and all the other elements. I cut some snow from white paper and glittered it up to finish

 I am not normally here on Team A , but I really could not resist colouring up the very sweet Chester , you can find him in the store right here, This one is Cracker Chester but there are a few Chesters to check out. I used the colour palette for my inspiration , loving the reds and golds


. I thought he looked as if he really was up to mischief so placed him swinging from the bauble . The bauble and background that I used are from Twiggy  & Toots festive fun you can find here ( I changed the background colour in Craft Artist so it matched)

I have used the amazing Frosted Winter collection using the lovely Artic Wandering Star Octavia also available as a digi here and also the Ice Palace which is available here I coloured up using Graph'It Markers and also using the silver shake it marker, I cut some flowers from the collection and coloured them up to match. 

I cut around the bauble using a die.

Ohhh think darks was a bit tricky for me I soooo wanted to add some lights in. I used the lovely Witches clothes Line bundle adding in a few cut spiders/ bats/web/grass and gravestone.  I added in a few bubbles to the cauldron and to give some background

How cute is my is the little image Ellie the Elf  from one of our lovely sponsors Oddball Art. I really enjoyed colouring her up . I think I will use her on a few Christmas cards this year. I coloured the background sky using 7110 and then used my blender and white marker for the snow. I then attempted some little bushes and added some little polystyrene snowballs to finish. For the sentiment I just used the empty biro method picking the lightest Red/Green

create a pattern using blender and palette

 I used the more colourful Palette as I thought it would suit my image better. The lovely image I used is Zoe and you can find her in ther store here - I must admit to not using me blender pen very much at all so when we were challenged to make a pattern with it I did so on Zoes hat just doing a simple criss cross I loved the result , I then got carried away with the blender blobbling here there and everywhere . I do belive I have found a new love in my life * My Blender Pen*
